Who we are

Audriana Vassel, M.A., BCBA, IBA, LBA — Founder & Owner. Tap sound to hear her message.
A wave hello from the Harmony House team.

We are a Connecticut team supporting individuals and families with individualized care — built around daily life, not around a clinic schedule.

Every program starts with a conversation and an assessment. Goals are written in language families recognize, reviewed together, and adjusted whenever routines, schools, or priorities change.

The Harmony House approach

“Progress should be visible in an ordinary Tuesday — not only in a report.”
Individualized from day one
No template programs. Assessment first, goals second, and always reviewed with the family before support begins.
Caregivers included
Strategies are taught, not performed. What we do in session should be repeatable without us.
Community as the classroom
Skills are practiced in stores, parks, buses, and schools where they are actually needed.
Clear communication
Plain language, preferred language, and a named contact for every family we serve.

From first call to independence

What working with us looks like.

Eight stages, each with a named person responsible. You should never have to guess what happens next.

  1. 01

    Connect

You reach out through the site, a call, or a referral partner. We confirm receipt the same way you contacted us.

  2. 02

    Understand

A short intake conversation covers what you're looking for, where you live, and how you prefer to communicate.

  3. 03

    Assess

A clinician completes an assessment appropriate to the requested service and funding requirements.

  4. 04

    Create a Plan

Goals are written in plain language with your family, then reviewed together before anything begins.

  5. 05

    Begin Support

Sessions start in the setting where the goals matter, with a consistent team wherever possible.

  6. 06

    Measure Progress

Data is collected during ordinary activities and summarized for you in review meetings.

  7. 07

    Adapt

Plans change when routines, schools, schedules, or priorities change.

  8. 08

    Grow

Support is reduced intentionally as independence increases.

Families

Starting is one conversation.

Tell us who needs support, where you are, and how to reach you. We handle the rest and tell you exactly what is still needed.

Professionals

Refer a client in minutes.

Schools, pediatricians, case managers, and community organizations can submit a referral, attach documents, and track its status.
