Common questions
Before you reach out.
- Do we need a diagnosis before contacting you?
- You can contact us either way. Some services and funding sources require documentation; our intake team will tell you what applies to your situation rather than asking you to figure it out.
- How long does intake take?
- The online intake usually takes a few minutes and can be saved and continued later. After submission, our team reviews it and follows up with any missing items.
- Where do sessions happen?
- Depending on the service and the goals, sessions may take place at home, in the community, or in a school setting.
- What if we speak a language other than English?
- Tell us your preferred language during intake and we will note it on your record and plan communication accordingly.
- What if we are not sure what we need?
- That is a common starting point. Choose 'I am unsure where to start' during intake and we will guide the conversation.
